Mr. Kobayashi serves as Operational Director at PT MC Urban Development Indonesia (MCUDI), where he is responsible for real estate development activities in Indonesia.
Prior to joining MCUDI, he has accumulated over 30 years of experience in the real estate and urban development industry across Japan, Singapore, and China, including leadership positions in asset management, mixed‑use development, and large‑scale real estate investment.
Notable experience includes serving as COO of Mitbana, a joint venture between Mitsubishi Corporation and Surbana Jurong, as well as leading the China Investment Team at Mitsubishi Corporation’s Global Real Estate Unit.
He holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Economics from Kobe University, and completed an exchange program at ESCP Business School in Paris (2004/9–2005/5).
